While drivers provide the taxis our helpers make things run smoothly. Meeting veterans, assisting them into and out of the taxis and making them generally comfortable for their journey.

Many, but not all, are friends and families of taxi drivers and taxi related companies. To provide the help they often leave home in the very early hours to be at our meeting point ready for the 0630 final briefing.

They join the line of taxis on Westminster Bridge as we mark the 11th hour. Over the years many friendships are formed.

Always ready and willing to assist they are all very special people without whom our service would not run efficiently
